Idea #362 – Diving at night with the manta rays
The Maldive Islands are one of the two better regions to the world where it is possible to observe manta rays during night dives. To observe them, it is necessary, at nightfall, to place a big projector behind the boat. The light cleared by lamps causes the arrival of zooplankton in a massive way. After one or two hours of wait, manta rays begin their ballets, in a group, sometimes counting to ten individuals. Manta chains then loopings the loop, touching the divers very closely, the wide open mouth, filtering the water rich in food. The show is unique, fabulous and magic.
