The harness is one of the bindings to have, not only when traveling but for almost all practices; it allows us to obtain an angle of view that makes us feel in the place of the one who films whether in skiing, mountain biking or elsewhere. In addition, it allows you to film all the activities where your hands are taken, such as rafting, kayaking, climbing. When traveling, systematically carry it in your bag, so you can film yourself surfing, riding a scooter in the depths of Indonesia or if you rent a bike for example. It offers an angle of view previously unheard of, which allows you to include your arms in the image and therefore to show a foreground that gives the impression of being in the action.
In some configuration, especially flat-belly,you can fix the strap in your back to have an original view.
The suction cup
The suction cup will be used especially if you go by roadtrip,to have unique views from the car,the opportunity to make timelapses by fixing the suction cup on the hood, the door, the roof … The angle of view it provides allows for original shots. You can also fix it on any glass or metal surface such as scooter tank, car, house roof, etc …
The front attachment or head strap / helmet
The head strap allows you to fix the GoPro on your head, with or without a helmet, which gives a point of view to observe the scene directly as if you were in the place of the eyes of the person who is filming. To be used without moderation to film… everything you do: making your way through the forest, handing out your boarding pass to the flight attendant when entering the plane, eating, clapping in the hand of your friends, cycling, drinking a cocktail on your deck chair facing the sunset… in short, it is THE fixation to have to give the impression to your viewers that they are experiencing the same thing, through your eyes.
This fixation, like the harness, is very useful when you have your hands taken during an activity. During rafting descents, however, remember to attach the strap by additional elastics in the aeration grooves of the helmet,so as not to lose your equipment.
If you enlarge the loops of the head strap as wide as possible, you can put it over your backpack to film what is happening behind you, for example, sitting on your bike or scooter to film those who follow you.
The Fisheye of the GoPro allows you to capture a very wide scene, in photo as in video. By holding the GoPro at arm'slength, one can film oneself, while having a glimpse of the surrounding landscape, as if the shot came from a third person. The pole is an indispensable support especially when traveling. You can use it from anywhere: underwater diving in the Philippines, in the middle of New York to film yourself crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, by bike to film one of your friends by following him closely (beware of the risks however.), skiing, surfing, etc … They are often telescopic and therefore allow you to manage yourself the distance of recoil that you want to have. Once retracted they can also serve as a handle to better hold your GoPro at arm's length.
Fasteners for tubular bar
The bike / tube fixing kit has two screws and allows you to fix your GoPro around just about any tube: steering wheel, handlebars, hose … Ideal to change angle, especially to film yourself in scooter or motorcycle for example. We can thus hang it around the gear lever, car steering wheel etc … If you do not have a pole, you can use a tube and attach this support to it to create an extension to your arm.
This attachment can be used to attach your GoPro to a snorkel while diving.
The wrist attachment is solution is useful for activities that stir a lot, with a strong exposure of your helmet. You will be able to launch films from your wrist, at the right time, for example by climbing, piloting your parachute or paragliding veil.
The tripod support allows you to screw your GoPro at the end of a pole, if it is equipped with a screw step and / or attach it to a monopod or tripod to make a timelapse for example. It also allows, with the help of adhesives, to take new angles, fixed on a mast for example.
