Idea #37 – Diving in Corsica calanches
Corsica offers typical Mediterranean seabed, including many sars, saupes, barracudas, groupers … The color of the water and geological formations are also strengths of the “Ile de Beauté”. The seamounts continues and plays counterpoint land, as a mirror, offering numerous sinkholes near the highest peaks. The diving spots are not at the top, because fishing and pollution have significantly degraded them. In the Scandola Reserve, it is forbidden to dive, but it is possible to dive in borders, and enjoy, at the margin, this protected countryside
