Idea # 155 – Diving with negra rays and stingrays in Oman
The islands of Daymaniat are considered as the best diving spots of Oman. During your dives, you will discover that the deep space differs from that close to the surface: more green in color because of the plankton, in the limited visibility, in the fresher temperature (generally 23°C instead of 28 °-30°C of the surface), and especially with the presence of numerous rays. Stingrays are the smallest and some belong to the species of “tail of cow”, easily recognizable in their tail. The negra rays are of much more respectable size, some approaching 2 meters large ! Let’s go diving !
