Idea # 146- Visit the tombs of the Kings in Paphos Cyprus
The Graves of Kings, to Kato Paphos, are sepulchral monumental arrangements dug in the rock; some are decorated with Doric pillars, and organized like atrium. Distributed on a very vast area, these impressive rupestral graves go back to the IVth century BC. They are the ones of high-ranking characters, and not kings, but their magnificence was worth its name in the place. Its originality and its state of preservation were worth to it being classified UNESCO world heritage.
