Idea #86 – Visiting Tenerife, over hill and dale
The island of Tenerife is the largest of the seven islands that make up the Canary Islands . Of volcanic origin, it has a dual landscape, resulting from the orientation to the sun, wind, and rain . It is not uncommon to see a slope there covered with dense forests, opposed to another side covered of arid cactus ! The North is more devoted to hiking and botany, while the South is dedicated to resorts and beaches. Houses have a particular style, with carved wooden balconies, and form the historic city centers .
