Idea #72 – Observation of dolphins in the Canary Islands
The short-beaked common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) is visible in Canary Islands ; it is easy to observe it from a boat, off the coast. It measures 1.7 to 2.4 meters and is characterized by his back in black, white belly and sides decorated with a large area ranging from brown to purple. It lives in band, moves very quickly, up to 50 km / hour and has a life expectancy of about 25 years. Funny and curious, the dolphins of Tenerife are always ready to interact with humans in one way or another.
